Differential determination of HPV DNA (Human papillomavirus, HPV) of 14 types (16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 66, 68) + CME in epithelial scrapings cells of the urogenital tract

It is advisable to conduct an examination of women in the first half of the menstrual cycle, not earlier than the 5th day. An examination is acceptable in the second half of the cycle, no later than 5 days before the expected onset of menstruation. If there are pathological changes, the material is taken on the day of the request. The day before and on the day of the examination, the patient is not recommended to douche the vagina. It is not recommended to take biomaterial during menses, earlier than 24-48 hours after sexual intercourse, intravaginal ultrasound and colposcopy. If a scraping is taken from the urethra for the study, the material is collected before or not earlier than 2-3 hours after urination. For men: 1-2 days before taking a smear (scraping), it is necessary to exclude sexual contact. Do not urinate for 1.5-2 hours before the procedure.

In what cases is the study "Differential determination of HPV DNA (Human papillomavirus, HPV) 14 types (16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 66, 68) + CMV in scraping of epithelial cells of the urogenital tract" carried out: the presence of papillomatous growths and changes on the mucous membranes of the genitals; monitoring the therapy; screening of special groups of women. Starting age for screening: from 21 years or within three years after the onset of sexual activity; from 18 years with a high degree of sexual activity; from 30 years for new programs (based on the detection of HPV DNA) or from 25 years for existing programs (classical cytological study). Special groups of people who are indicated for screening: women with a history of cervical cancer; women aged 25-65 years who have never had a cytological examination or who had one more than three years ago; women with bleeding during the reproductive period, bleeding after menopause, postcoital bleeding.
