Antibodies of the IgM class to the causative agent of chlamydia. Antibodies of the IgM class appear first during the body's immune response to the penetration of an infectious agent. The presence of antibodies to Chlamydia trachomatis of the IgM class in the blood is observed in the early period of the disease or at the beginning of an exacerbation of the chronic process. High titers of IgM antibodies in combination with low titers of IgG antibodies indicate an early stage of the process.
